Homework 13

Date Assigned: Thursday, April 26, 2012
Date Due: Tuesday, May 1, 2012
  1. Class on May 1: No problems are due for this homework assignment. In our final class meeting on Tuesday, May 1, we will do course evaluations and attendance is mandatory. Attendance will be counted as a 15 point homework grade. We will also review for the final exam.

  2. Lab: If you did not demonstrate your waveform generator project, I will be available in Dana 305 on Monday, April 30 from 2:00-3:40 and on Tuesday, May 1 from 1:00-3:00. Lab reports (one per group) may be submitted any time before the final exam. Your report may be submitted on paper or electronically as an email attachment.

  3. Final Exam: The final exam will be on Friday, May 4 from 8:00 - 11:00 AM in room BRKI 166 (our regular classroom). The exam will be cumulative, open-book and open-notes, and you will need a calculator.
The final exam will include the 15-question, multiple-choice "Circuits Concepts Inventory" that you completed at the beginning and end of ELEC 225. Your score on the Concepts Inventory will be part of your final exam score.

The final exam from 2011 is posted here: 2011 final exam. That exam was take-home, so it included work in Matlab. Our in-class exam will not require Matlab. The 2011 final exam is provided as optional practice, and you should not submit your solution. I will check your solution and answer questions if you stop by my office.

  4. Office Hours: I will not be available for my usual office hour on Tuesday, May 1 from 9:30-11:00. However, if you would like to meet before the final exam, please send me email and we will arrange a day and time.

  5. The First Annual Electrical and Computer Engineering Senior Design Expo will be held on Tuesday, May 1st from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM in Breakiron 263. Please stop by to see posters of the projects.
Thank you.
