Reading: In the Nilsson/Riedel text, please continue to study Chapter 10 on sinusoidal steady-state power. We will discuss Chapter 10 during the week of Feb. 15.
Please solve the following problems in Chapter 9 and submit solutions in class on ~~Feb. 16~~: Feb. 18:
Ideal transformers: Problems 9.77 and 9.80.

Notes:
- Problem 9.77: This problem is straightforward if you understand equation 9.91 in the text.
- Problem 9.80: We will solve a similar problem, 9.79, in class. A solution to problem 9.79 is posted on Blackboard under Course Materials.

The final exam for ELEC 226 is scheduled for Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 8:00 - 11:00 A.M. in Dana 227.
The exam will be cumulative and it will be open-book and open-notes. You should also bring a calculator.
We will have a short quiz on the topic of ideal transformers in class on ~~Thursday, Feb. 18~~Tuesday, Feb. 23.
Homework 5 is posted in case you want to get an early start as you study Chapter 10.
