• Study Section 4-10 on Digital-to-Analog Converters (DAC) along with the material from Lab 3 and class on Oct. 31 (which is posted on Moodle under Course Materials).
• Review the voltage-current relations for capacitors in Section 5-2 (equation 5.23) and inductors in Section 5-3 (equation 5.55). (You will study Chapters 5 and 6 in detail next semester in ELEC 226.)
• Study Chapter 7, Sections 7-1 through 7-5.
• Review complex number computations with your calculator. The materials on Moodle for circuit analysis with TI-83/84 and TI-89 calculators contain step-by-step instructions. (These are the first two items under Course Materials on Moodle.)

• We will have Lab 5 on Oct. 30 and Nov. 1.
• Reports for Lab 4 are due in class on Monday, Nov. 5. The lab reports may be handwritten (or a combination of typed and handwritten), with one report per lab group. Please refer to the lab report rubric document on the ELEC 225 labs page for guidance on how the lab reports will be evaluated. The plot produced by the Matlab code is also posted on the ELEC 225 labs page.
• We will not have labs on Nov. 6 & 8.

The tentative plan is for Exam 2 to be closed-book and closed-notes, with no formula sheet. The equivalent circuit model for the op amp in Figure 4-4 will be given. Please let me know if there are other formulas that would be helpful, or if a self-prepared, one-page note sheet would be useful.
