Each student will have a lab session every other week, on the dates listed below.
September 3 and 17, October 1 and 15: All students attend in Dana 305.
October 29, November 5, 12, and 19: Attend two of these sessions according to your assigned group, which is posted on Blackboard.
December 3: All students attend in Dana 305.
September 3: Lab 1 (Introduction to PSpice)
September 17: Lab 2 (Thevenin Equivalent Circuit Models for Digital Logic Gates)
October 1: Lab 3 (Nodal Analysis and D/A Conversion)
October 15:
Lab 4
(Design of a Light-Controlled Fan Circuit)
Note about PSpice for this circuit:
We loaded the wrong library during lab.
We should have loaded the bipolar.olb that is in the
pspice library folder.
(The transistor.olb is located one directory above the pspice
folder.)
Then the proper device is the Q2N3904 in the bipolar.olb library.
October 29 & November 5: Lab 5 (Amplifier Design Using Op Amps)
November 12 & 19: Lab 6 (Low-Pass and High-Pass Filter Circuits)
December 3: Lab 7 (Frequency Response Analysis, Simulation, and Measurements)
