  3. Please solve the following problems, and submit solutions on September 24.
    Chapter 3: Problem 3.53.

    Equations (3.47), (3.48), (3.49) on page 74: Show how these equations are derived from Figure 3.31.
    Hint: Short-circuit each pair of terminals (a-b, b-c, a-c), then equate conductances (G) in the Delta and Y circuits. Also, see Problem 3.62.

    Chapter 4: Problems 63 and 69 (Thevenin model), 6, 10, and 11(a) (node-voltage method).
    You should follow the step-by-step instructions for the node-voltage method as you solve problem 6, 10, and 11.
