  1. Reading: In the Nilsson/Riedel text, please continue to study Chapter 9, Sections 9.1 through 9.9 and 9.12.

  2. Please do the prelab activities for Lab 7 before you go to lab on December 4.

  3. Please solve the following problems and submit solutions on Dec. 8:
    Chapter 9: Problems 25, 28, 45, 56, and 62.

    Hint for 9.45: Find Zab by applying a sinusoidal test voltage source vT(t) = cos ( 1.6 x 106 t ) across a-b, and compute the current flowing through the test source.

  4. You may want to solve the following optional problems before the final exam (solutions will be posted on Dec. 8):
    Chapter 9: Problems 42, 50, 60, and 66.

  5. Optional sessions for help with using your calculator to perform complex number operations will be held as follows:

    Wednesday, Dec. 3 and Thursday, Dec. 4, 8-9 PM in Dana 305.

  6. The final exam for ELEC 225 will be on Monday, Dec. 15 from 8:00 - 11:00 AM in the classroom that we meet for lectures, Dana 221. More details about the final exam will be discussed on class on December 8.

    The exam will be cumulative and it will be open-book and open-notes. You should also bring a calculator.
