Chapter 9 provides a nice review of everything we've done so far in this course. We will be applying all of the circuit analysis methods to find the sinusoidal steady-state response. The new twist is that voltages and currents will be complex-valued phasors, while resistors, capacitors, and inductors will be modeled by complex-valued impedances.
Chapter 9: 2, 5, 6, 7,11, 12, 14.
Hint for 9.6: cos2 x = (1 + cos (2x)) / 2
Note:
There is an error in the answers in the back of the textbook
to Problem 9.5, parts (h).
The answer in the textbook is correct if the question is changed as follows:
9.5(h): Change "to the right" to "to the left"
** Modification: Problems 9.11, 9.12, and 9.14 will be part of Homework 11, so you can delete them from this assignment. **
Thank you.
